Bangladesh reports two Covid-19 deaths, 679 positive cases

Bangladesh on Thursday reported two Covid-19 deaths during the last 24 hours while it recorded 679 coronavirus positive cases during the same period, a daily statement of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said.

The official tally showed that the virus killed 29,362 people and infected 20,24,489 so far, the statement added.

The recovery count rose to 19,64,501 after another 354 patients were discharged from the dedicated hospitals during the last 24 hours.
