National grid disaster: Two PGCB officials suspended

Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) suspended two officials for negligence in the incident of disaster in the national power grid.

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid said that this decision will be implemented by Sunday.

After receiving the PGCB's investigation report, the state minister gave this information to reporters at the secretariat.

At the same time, he said that the responsible persons of the distribution company will be found and brought under punishment within this week.

The state minister said that among the two accused officials of PGCB, one is an assistant engineer and the other is a sub-assistant engineer.
