Fardin Noor Parash, a student at Buet, was last seen at roughly 2:15 am at the Jatrabari intersection on the night of his disappearance, according to the Detective Branch of Police.

A young person wearing a white t-shirt was seen boarding Fardin on a human haulier. The vehicle that was traveling in the direction of Tarabo had four additional passengers.

The human hauler's driver and his companions have been kept under observation.

The disclosure was revealed to reporters on Thursday by Harun Or Rashid, additional commissioner of the detective section of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

He continued, "It is not yet known where he was slain.

According to earlier statements made by Rapid Action Battalion, the murder was carried out with the help of drug dealer Raihan Mahmud and his associates from the Chonpara slum.

Around 2:34 am, Fardin's cell phone location was also found close to the Chonpara slum. But after Raihan and the other suspects are taken into custody, the motivation will become evident.

According to a DB officer looking into the situation, the human haulier let off three passengers at Biswa Road after departing from Jatrabari, and another passenger was subsequently dropped off at the following stoppage. However, the official claimed on condition of anonymity that it takes at least an hour to go to Chonpara from that location.

The official continued, "Fardin's presence in Chonpara slum about 2:30am is therefore not possible, and it is not factual."

It is untrue, according to investigators, that Fardin's body was transported to a private vehicle at Chonpara.

On November 7, three days after he went missing, the body of Fardin, a third-year student in the Civil Engineering program at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet), was found in the Shitalakkhya river in Siddhirganj, Narayanganj.
