SSC Results: 2,69,602 get GPA-5

A total of 2,69,602 students have achieved GPA-5 in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examination. Among them, 2,33,763 students under General Education Board got GPA-5.

Education Minister Dipu Moni announced the results in a press conference at the International Mother Language Institute at Segunbagicha in the capital on Monday.

This year, the average pass rate in the SSC exam is 87.44 percent.

The average pass rate of the nine general education boards is 88.10 percent. And Madrasa Education Board has an average pass rate of 82.22 percent and Technical Education Board has an average pass rate of 89.55 percent.

The results were published simultaneously in respective institutes and online.

Earlier, the copies of the results were handed over to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina through a ceremony at the Prime Minister's office in the afternoon.

Last year, the average pass rate in the SSC exam was 93.58 percent.
