People 60 and older will receive their fourth dose of the Covid vaccine

The fourth dose of the Covid-19 immunization will be given to adults 60 years of age and older, according to Thursday's announcement by health minister Zahid Maleque.

"The technical committee has also endorsed our plan to administer the fourth dose of the vaccine, " he said.

The declaration was made by the minister, who was the event's chief guest in honor of World AIDS Day in 2022.

A week-long special statewide vaccination campaign has been launched by the health directorate to provide 90 lakh people, 12 years of age and older, the second and booster doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.
