Fire at fuel lorries of Shahjalal airport doused

The fire that broke out at two fuel trucks at the third terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) on Wednesday morning has been extinguished.

Kamrul Islam, executive director of the airport told media that the two fuel trucks caught fire while transferring oil from one truck to another at about 10:12am.

Four units from Kurmitola and Uttara stations of the Fire Service and Civil Defence brought the fire under control around 11:30 am, he said.

No one was injured in the incident.
