Student enrollment for class 1 to 9 begins Sunday

Secondary schools will start enrollment of students for class 1 to 9 from Sunday that  will continue till December 21.

Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) sources said that the government and non-government schools will now enroll admission-seekers from waiting list from December 22 to December 27,.

All of the chosen students’ documentation will be meticulously checked.

According to DSHE officials, schools have been told not to impose any additional fees, and those who do so would face harsh punishment.

On December 12, a digital lottery for 540 government schools was held, and on December 13, a similar lottery for 2,852 non-government schools in the Sadar upazilas and surrounding metropolitan areas was held.
