8 Bangladeshis abducted by Rohingya terrorists, ransom demanded

Armed Rohingya terrorists abducted eight people, including students, in Teknaf of Cox's Bazar, family sources claimed.

On Sunday afternoon, they were abducted from a waterspout inside Jahaspura Hill, Ward No. 6 of Baharchhara Union of Teknaf.

Later, the kidnappers demanded a ransom of Tk 3 lakh per person, the family of the victims said.

However, the police believe that there is a possibility of drug-human trafficking issue behind the incident.
