PM greets new Nepali Premier Pushpa Kamal Dahal

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has greeted her Nepali counterpart Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

In a congratulatory message to the new Nepali premier, Sheikh Hasina wrote, "I am delighted to extend my warmest congratulations to you on your election as the Prime Minister of Nepal, which reflects the trust and confidence reposed in your able and visionary leadership by the people of Nepal."

She said "I believe your long experience will lead Nepal to an upper plateau of prosperity."

Prime Minister's Assistant Press Secretary ABM Sarwer-E-Alom Sarker told BSS.

Sheikh Hasina said, "I look forward to working closely with you to strengthen our multifaceted relationship for the mutual benefit of the two people." 

"I am confident that during your term in office, the excellent bilateral relations we enjoy will further widen and deepen in all the areas of common interest and potential sectors of collaboration, particularly connectivity, trade, tourism, power, and people-to-people contacts," she added.

The Premier also invited her Nepali counterpart to visit Bangladesh at his earliest convenience time. 

She expressed her best wishes for his good health, long life, and happiness, and for the friendly people of Nepal- the continued peace, progress, and prosperity.

Sheikh Hasina also wished Pushpa Kamal Dahal a very happy new year in advance.
