BERC recommends 15pc hike in retail power tariff

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission's (BERC) technical evaluation committee has recommended raising retail electricity prices by around 15%.

It came up with the suggestion to the commission members at a public hearing held Sunday at the capital's BIAM Auditorium.
