Metro train to stop at Pallabi Station from Jan 25

Pallabi station, the third metro rail station of Dhaka Metro Line, will be operational from January 25.

The details were revealed on Monday during a news conference held at the DMTCL office by MAN Siddique, managing director of the company.

Currently, there are no stops in between Diabari and Agargaon on the metro rail.

The timeline of the metro rail will also be slightly altered, he said. He stated that it would last from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm.

Additionally, in an effort to accommodate more commuters, they will strive to loosen the 200 passenger limit.

Around 90,000 passengers used the metro rail service during the first 10 days of operation, and the government made about Tk 88 lakh at that time, the MD of DMTCL added.
