Namaz-e-Janaza of Habib Ullah Khan at Gulshan Azad Mosque on Tuesday

Former Information Minister Habib Ullah Khan's Namaz-e-Janaza will be held on Tuesday at the Gulshan Azad Mosque after Zohr prayers in the capital, family sources told The Daily Samakal.

Habib Ullah Khan passed away on Saturday at Evercare Hospital in the city. He was 88.

He left behind his only daughter, grandchildren, and numerous relatives.

He was a former MP and information minister in the late 70s and early 80s he was the jute minister.

He was the first ambassador to South Africa. His wife, Salma Khan, was also an ambassador to Indonesia. She passed away in July 2022.
