Pedestrian shot during shooting in Gulshan

A pedestrian was shot in front of a restaurant called Gloria Jean’s Coffees Bangladesh at Gulshan 1 in the capital around 4:00 pm on Sunday.

According to the police, “The shooting incident happened in front of Gloria Jean’s Coffees Bangladesh. A pedestrian was shot in this incident.”

After receiving the information, police rushed to the spot and arrested two people.

A. Ahad, Deputy Commissioner of Gulshan Division, confirmed the matter, saying, “The shooting happened in front of restaurant Gloria Jean’s Coffees Bangladesh around 4 pm. We have taken two people involved in this incident into custody. Validity of their firearms, name and identity are being verified. Initially, it was reported that the incident of gunfire started centring the transaction of money.”
