Mild cold wave may spread further

A mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Dinajpur, Panchagarh, Nilphamari and Moulavibazar and it may spread further, according to Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

A BMD bulletin issued on Monday  said that moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins and adjoining areas, and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country from Monday midnight to Tuesday morning.

Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky over the country.

However, night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 29.1 degrees Celsius at Teknaf, while the lowest today was 9.1 degrees Celsius at Dinajpur.
