No JSC, JDC exams to be held from now on

There will be no Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations in the country from now on.

Akther Unnisa Shiuly, deputy secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Division said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given consent to the proposal of discontinuation of JSC, JDC exams for class-8 students.

In December last year, the division sent the proposal to the PMO, she added.
