Parliament reconstitutes five standing committees

The Jatiya Sangsad has reconstituted five parliamentary standing committees on different ministries.

Chief Whip of the JS Noor-E-Alam Chowdhury on behalf of the Leader of the House and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina proposed the reconstitution on Monday.

Later, the proposals were adopted by voice votes with Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.

The parliamentary committees are - Standing Committee of Privileges, Committee on Government Assurances, Standing Committee on Ministry of Food, Standing Committee on Ministry of Primary and Mass Education and Standing Committee on Ministry of Posts, Telecommunication & Information and Communication Technology(ICT).
