Mild cold wave likely to continue

A mild cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and the district of Chuadanga and it may continue, said Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD). 

A BMD bulletin issued on Tuesday said, moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins and northwestern part and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during Tuesday midnight to Wednesday morning.

The country may have brief periods of partly overcast skies with dry weather.

The temperature at night and during the day may, however, hardly change nationwide.

The country's highest temperature was 28.6 degrees Celsius on Monday in Teknaf, and its lowest temperature was 7.6 degrees Celsius on Tuesday in Badalgachhi, Rajshahi district.
