10 injured in train collision in Chilahati

At least 10 people were injured in the collision between Mithali Express and Khulna-bound Rupsa Express at Chilahati railway station in Domar upazila of Nilphamari district on Wednesday morning.

Official of Chilahati Fire Service Nur Alam Siddiqui confirmed the incident and said that two units of fire service are conducting rescue work at the spot.

Two of the injured were identified as Rupsa Locomaster Nazmul Haque and Mithali Express Assistant Locomaster Majedur Rahman.

The injured in the accident have been admitted to the local hospitals and clinics.
