Court dismisses BNP's complaint against DB chief, nine others

A BNP executive committee member accused the chief of the detective branch of police and nine other law enforcement officers of robbing and vandalizing the party's Nayapaltan office in a case that was submitted to a Dhaka court on December 7 of last year. 

On Sunday, the court issued a summary dismissal of the complaint.

According to court sources, Nazimuddin Alam, a former member from Bhola-4, filed a lawsuit Sunday morning, which Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury dismissed.
