LPG price hiked to Tk1,498 per 12 kg cylinder

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is now Tk266 more expensive per 12kg cylinder for consumers.

The new price has climbed from Tk1,232 to Tk1,498 as of Thursday, according to the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC).

The charge will be in effect from right now until further notice.
