Body of Angela Barui to be flown to Dhaka on February 24

All formalities have been completed to send the body of Angela Barui, who died in the tragic road accident on the Canadian highway, to Bangladesh on February 24.

Bangladesh Consular General in Toronto Lutfar Rahman on Thursday night said Emirates Airlines has been booked to send the body of Angela Barai to Bangladesh.

He, however, said that it will be late to send the bodies of two other students as related procedures in this regard are not completed yet.

On completion all the formalities, their bodies will be sending back Bangladesh, he added.

Meanwhile, music artiste Kumar Biswajit and his wife Naima Sultana has requested countrymen to pray for their only son, Nibir, who is undergoing treatment at a Canadian hospital. The physical condition of Nibir, who was seriously injured in the road accident, is improving slowly, said the couple who are in Toronto.

The tragic accident happened at Dundas Street West on Highway 427 in Toronto at 11:30 p.m. local time on February 13.
