Everyone must be aware to prevent fraud in e-commerce: Commerce Minister

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi has urged all to be aware of fraudulence taking place in e-commerce.

“Digital Bangladesh is now rapidly moving towards Smart Bangladesh. People of the country are now enjoying benefits of Digital Bangladesh as well as the benefits of e-commerce. The scope of e-commerce has increased a lot. At the same time, fraud in e-commerce has also increased. So, we have launched Central Complaint Management System (CCMS) platform to prevent fraud in digital commerce,” said the minister.

He came up with the urge during the chief guest's speech at the inauguration of the CCMS platform organized by the Ministry of Commerce at the Secretariat on Sunday.

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak was present as the special guest in the event.
