Grameenphone network restored

After more than two hours of interruption, the Grameenphone network's regular service was returned nationwide, according to company authorities.

The network got back online at 1:50 pm, Khairul Basher, head of communications at Grameenphone, reported. The network had been down for almost two hours owing to fiber-optic cable damage caused by construction work on roads in Gazipur, Tangail, and Sirajganj.
