No gas supply for 8 hours in parts of Dhaka Thursday

The supply of gas will be suspended for eight hours starting from 2:00pm to 10:00pm on Thursday due to urgent renovation work of Titas gas pipeline in different parts of the capital.

Titas Gas Authority made the disclosure in a notification issued on Wednesday.

According to the notification, gas supply will be halted in Mintu Road, Iskaton, Paribagh, Habibullah Road, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Bardem, Dhaka Club, Holy Family, Kawran Bazar, Old Elephant Road, Dhaka University and BUET areas due to urgent renovation work of Titas gas pipe line. 

Besides, gas pressure may be low in the surrounding areas at that time.

Titas authorities have expressed apology for the temporary inconvenience to customers.
