Total voters now 11,91,51,440

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal has released the final voter list at its Agargaon office in the capital on Thursday.

He said that currently the total number of voters in the country is 11,91,51,440. Of them, the number of male voters is 6,04,45,724 and the number of female voters is 5,87,04,879. Besides, the total number of third gender voters is 837.

A total of 58,64,430 fresh voters were added to the updated voter list. That means the voter growth rate this year stands at 5.18 percent.
