Former British PM Tony Blair meets PM Sheikh Hasina

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official Ganabhaban residence in Dhaka on Saturday.

During their meeting, the former British prime minister briefed the premier of Bangladesh on the activities of his ‘Tony Blair Institute’.

The PM's press secretary, Ihsanul Karim, briefed the media following the meeting.

Sheikh Hasina appreciated the mission of Tony Blair Institute for a global future.

PM's Principal Secretary Md Tofazzel Hossain Miah, Senior Secretary of Foreign Affairs Masud Bin Momen, Prime Minister's Office (PMO) Secretary Mohammad Salahuddin and British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Robert Chatterton Dickson were present.
