New body of Aviation Operators Association of Bangladesh takes charge

The newly elected executive committee of the Aviation Operators Association of Bangladesh (AOAB) has taken charge on Tuesday.

Anjan Chowdhury, the managing director of Square Air Limited, and Mofizur Rahman, the managing director of Novo Air, were elected as the president and the secretary general of the organization respectively for the period of 2023-2025, said a press release.

The members of executive committee include Safwan Sobhan of Bashundhara Airways, Mustafa Kamal of Meghna Aviation, Z Mahmood Mamun of Impress Aviation, Khandakar AFM Mohibullah of South Asian Airlines, Rakibul Kabir of Bangla International Airlines, Abdullah Al Zaheer Swapan of , Blue Flying Academy, Mohammad Arifur Rahman of Sky Capital Airlines, Parvez Rahman of BRB Air Limited and Mohammad Yunus of Galaxy Flying Academy.

The AOAB was established on February 25, 2012 with the aim of developing the country’s aviation sector.
