Medical admission test results published

The results of the admission test for first-year of MBBS 2023-24 academic year in government and private medical colleges of the country have been published on Sunday afternoon.

Health Minister Zahid Maleque announced the results of the medical admission test at the Directorate General of Health Services.

The pass rate of the MBBS/BDS admission test is 35.34 percent.

Out of 49,194 successful students, 20,813 are male and 28,381 are female.

Almost 1.39 lakh candidates appeared in the medical admission test.

The results are available in three ways: the DGHS website, the Directorate General of Medical Education website and also through SMS.

A candidate's result has been sent to the mobile phone number given at the time of application.

On the test with multiple choice questions, 40 out of 100 was the required score.

According to the health ministry, there are 6,772 seats in 72 private medical institutions and 4,350 seats in 37 public medical colleges.
