Heavy traffic jams in city on the first working day of Ramadan

After three consecutive days of vacation, the first working day of the month of Ramadan has started today with heavy traffic congestion.

The city commuters were stuck in traffic jams on various important roads of the capital.

As the day progresses, the amount of traffic in the city also increases, forcing the vehicles stranded on the road for hours.

Heavy traffic congestion were reported at Airport, Kuril, Banani, Badda, Mohakhali, Hatirjheel, Rampura, Karwan Bazar, Panthpath, Dhanmondi, Jatrabari and Kalshi areas of the capital.

Regarding the traffic jam across the capital, DMP's traffic department says that everyone is going to work together on the first working day of Ramadan after three days off. As a result, the traffic pressure on the roads has increased.
