Rain or thundershowers accompanied by gusty wind likely

Bangladesh Meteorological Department has predicted that rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusts or squally wind is likely at a few places and at one or two places throughout the country for the next 24 hours beginning at 9am on Sunday. 

"Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Sylhet and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Barishal divisions", said a met office press release. 

Day and night temperatures may rise by (1-2)oC throughout the country, it added. 

The country's maximum temperature was recorded at 33.0 degrees celsius at Teknaf, while the minimum temperature today was recorded at 16.2 degrees celsius at Tetulia.
