PM to provide aid to Bangabazar fire-affected traders: Taposh

Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will give adequate grants to the fire-affected traders of the capital’s Bangabazar shopping market.

He made the comments after laying the foundation stone of the construction of Guran playing ground in Khilgaon area of the city on Wednesday morning in an exchange of views with the media persons.

The mayor said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will give sufficient grants to the businessmen affected by the fire.

Taposh said that they will fully support the small traders and investors considering the humanitarian aspects.

“The Prime Minister spoke to me this morning in this regard,” he said.

“After assessing the losses by listing, all the small investors will be given adequate subsidy so that they can run their business again,” the mayor continued.
