Fire at Barisal Plaza in Bangabazar

A fire broke out on the fourth floor of Barisal Plaza in Bangabazar of the capital at 8:05 am on Saturday.

On receiving information, 14 units of fire service went to the spot and brought the fire under control at 8:45 am.

Fire Service Control Room Duty Officer Rafi Al Faruq confirmed this information to The Daily Samakal.

No casualties were reported in this incident, he added.

The duty officer Rafi said that the cause of the fire was not immediately known.
