Nafiz Alam arrested again

Bhatara police arrested Nafiz Mohammad Alam again from Bashundhara residential area of the capital on Sunday night.

Deutsche Welle took interview of Nafiz on a documentary on Rab. 

On Monday morning, Deputy Commissioner of Gulshan Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Abdul Ahad Nafiz, informed reporters about the arrest.

Ahad said, "There was an arrest warrant against Nafiz in a case. He was arrested yesterday evening. He will be sent to court today.”

He said foreign liquor and a motorbike with police stickers were seized from Nafiz's house during the arrest.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhatara Police Station ABM Asaduzzaman said the police have registered a drug case against Nafiz at Bhatara Police Station on Monday.

Earlier in November 2021, Nafiz was arrested in RAB operation.

At that time, RAB informed about the recovery of drugs from Nafiz's house.
