Ceramic godown in Chawkbazar catches fire

A fire broke out in the ceramic godown on the fifth floor of a five-storey building next to Bismillah Tower in Chawkbazar of Old Dhaka in the capital.

The fire service said it got report of the fire incident at 10:45 am on Tuesday.

Its first unit arrived at the scene at 10:53 am, sources said.

A total of six units of fire service are working to extinguish the fire.

No casualties were so far reported.
