Chief Justice visits Mujibnagar monument

Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique today visited the Mujibnagar monument here.

He placed a floral wreath at the altar of the Mujibnagar monument in Mujibnagar where the provisional govt of Bangladesh sworn on April 17, 1971.

Earlier, in the morning, the Chief Justice laid the foundation stone of Naikunjo Rest House on the district court premises.

Register of Supreme Court Md Saifur Rahman, Register of High Court Judicial Department SKM Tofail Hasan, District and Sessions Judge Md Shahidullah, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Azizul Islam, Police Super Rafiul Alam and Public Prosecutor Pallab Bhattacharya were present, among others.

Later, the Chief Justice exchanged views with judges and advocates in the district separately.
