IGP suggests city dwellers to be more cautious during Eid vacations

Inspector General of Police Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun has called upon the city dwellers to be more careful about their belongings before leaving Dhaka for native homes on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr vacation.

Either take your cash, jewellery and other valuables with you or leave those with your near and dear ones before leaving Dhaka," he said.

IGP came up with the urge while briefing a press conference at the Sayedabad bus terminal on Wednesday.

Additionally, the police chief advised passengers who were headed home not to eat any food provided by other passengers or by strangers.
