No sufferings during Eid journey this year: Quader

The minister of roads and bridges, Obaidul Quader, said on Friday that there were no traffic jams or other sufferings while traveling for Eid this year.

This morning, he told reporters while visiting the under- constructed flyover at the airport of the capital.

According to Quader, instructions have been given to the appropriate personnel to ensure a smooth and trouble-free return trip for Eid.

Senior authorities as well as Secretary ABM Amin Ullah Noori of the Roads and Highways Department and Secretary Manjur Hossain of the Bridges Department were present.

This year, no passengers faced trouble while using an Eid bus, train, or ferry, according to Quader.

The government has permitted motorbikes to cross the Padma Bridge for the sake of youngsters.
