Stern action to be taken for spreading question leak rumour: Education Minister

Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni said that there is no chance of question leakage in the ongoing SSC and equivalent exams.

She warned as saying, “Someone might spread rumours. But if the person in this regard is identified, severe action will be taken.”

Dipu Moni said this in response to questions from reporters after visiting the centre at Badda High School in the capital on Sunday, the first day of the SSC and equivalent exams 2023.

The education minister said, “Social media is being monitored all the time to prevent rumours about leaking questions. Wherever we assume that someone is trying to spread rumors or something unusual is happening in this regard, action is being taken promptly.”

Deputy Minister of Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury, Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Division Soleman Khan, Director General of Secondary and Higher Education Division Prof. Nehal Ahmed, Chairman of Dhaka Board Prof. Tapan Kumar Sarkar and others were also present at this time.
