3 WASA employees sued for misappropriating Tk 248.55 crore

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed a case against three employees of Dhaka WASA for misappropriating about Tk 248.55 crore from Dhaka Wasa Employee Multipurpose Cooperative Society.

ACC's assistant director Ashikur Rahman filed the case.

Assistant Director of ACC Head Office Ashikur Rahman filed the case on Wednesday at the Commission's Integrated District Office Dhaka-1 as the plaintiff.

WASA's former revenue inspectors Mia Md Mizanur Rahman and Habib Ullah Bhuiyan and computer operator Naimul Hasan were named in the case. All of the accused were the members of the cooperative society.
