PM set to open hajj programme

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the Hajj Programme-2023 at Hajj Camp in the city's Ashkona at 10am on Friday.

A total of 140 hajj pilgrims, senior officials and representatives of various organisations, including the Ministry of Religion, will be present in the ceremony. 

Some 1,20,491 pilgrims from Bangladesh are set to perform hajj this year.
