Rain with gusty wind likely across country

Bangladesh Meteorological Department has predicted that rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places across the country.

A met office weather forecast has been issued for the next 24 hours commencing from 9am on Friday.

"Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions with hails at isolated places over the country," it elaborated.

In many parts of the nation, the temperature may not fluctuate much from day to night.

The country's maximum temperature on Thursday was 33.5 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi, while Friday's minimum was equally recorded at Bandarban and Barishal at 19.8 degrees Celsius.
