Cutting trees in Dhanmondi: Protesters march to Nagar Bhaban

People have started marching to besiege the Dhaka South
City Corporation (DSCC) Nagar Bhaban to protest against felling trees.
The protesters gathered at Shahbagh’s Doel Chattar on Sunday
morning. They started marching towards the Nagar Bhaban at around 11am.
Dhaka South City Corporation is felling trees on the road
divider of Sat Masjid Road in Dhanmondi for development work. The protest
programme was announced at a press conference on Saturday afternoon in front of
the Abahani playground in Dhanmondi.
