Dhaka WASA chairman removed after complaining against Taqsem A Khan

Dhaka WASA Board Chairman Engineer Gholam Mostofa has been removed from his post after filing a complaint against Dhaka WASA Managing Director (MD) Taqsem A Khan in the ministry of Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives.

Prof Sujit Kumar Bala, a member of the Dhaka WASA Board, was given the responsibility of its chairman, said an office order signed by Deputy Secretary of Local Government Department Akbar Hossain.

On Wednesday, Gholam Mostofa filed a written complaint against Dhaka WASA Managing Director Taqsem A Khan in the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives.

In that four-page complaint paper, Gholam Mostofa raised various allegations against Taqsem A Khan, including unlimited irregularities and corruption.
