Dr Yunus, 12 others sued for misappropriating Tk 25 crore

Grameen Telecom Chairman Muhammad Yunus and 12 others have been sued for misappropriating about Tk 25 crore of Grameen Telecom's Workers Profit Participation Fund.

ACC Deputy Director Gulshan Anwar Pradhan filed the case with its integrated district office on Tuesday.

The other defendants in the case include Managing Director of Grameen Telecom Nazmul Islam, director and former managing director Ashraful Hasan; director Parveen Mahmud, Nazneen Sultana, Md Shahjahan, Nurjahan Begum, SM Hazzatul Islam Latifi; Advocate Md Yusuf Ali, Advocate Zafrul Hasan Sharif; president of Grameen Telecom Sramik-Karmachari Union Qamruzzaman, general secretary Feroz Mahmud Hasan and representative Md Mainul Islam.
