Jahangir Alam new director general of BTV

Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, has been appointed as the new director general (DG) of Bangladesh Television (BTV).

A gazette notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration revealed the information on Monday.

The order will be effective immediately, the notification added.
