12,789 candidates pass 45th BCS preliminary exam

A total of 12,789 candidates have passed the preliminary test of the 45th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations.

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) published the results on Tuesday afternoon.

The preliminary exam for the 45th BCS under the PSC was held on May 19 this year.

The PSC published the 45th BCS circular on November 30. 

About 346,000 candidates have applied to take the exams for 2,309 posts in different cadres.

The tests were held in Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur, and Mymensingh divisions simultaneously from 10am to 12pm.
