Daily Star editor served legal notice for defaming Mayor Taposh

Taposh's lawyer has sent a legal notice to Mahfuz Anam, the editor and
publisher of the Daily Star, for allegedly publishing defamatory article against
the mayor.
DSCC Public Relations Officer Naser Ahmed confirmed the
matter, saying that the mayor's lawyer Barrister Mezbahur Rahman sent the legal
notice to the Daily Star editor by mail on Wednesday.
The legal notice has also sought Tk 100 crore in compensation, he said.
