Secondary schools closed on Thursday due to heatwave

The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has announced the closure of classes in secondary schools on Thursday due to the severe heatwave sweeping over country.

In a circular issued on Wednesday afternoon, Director General of DSHE Professor Nehal Ahmed made the announcement.

According to the notification of DSHE, the heatwave warning issued by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department has said that mild, moderate and severe heatwaves may continue over the country for the next 5 to 6 days.
