Six lakh children to get Vitamin A capsule in DSCC

A total of six lakh children of the under-five age group will be fed Vitamin A capsules in 1,827 centres under Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) on June 18.

Children aged 6-11 months will be given one blue capsule each and children aged 12-59 months will be given one red capsule each from 8am to 4pm on Sunday, June 18.

This information was disclosed at the Central Advocacy and Journalist Orientation meeting organised on the occasion of "National Vitamin 'A' Plus Campaign-2023" at Buriganga Hall, Nagar Bhaban, Head Office of DSCC.

Acting Chief Health Officer of the Corporation Dr Fazle Shamsul Kabir presided over the meeting, reads a press release.
