Poet Asad Chowdhury hospitalized in Canada

Ekushey Padak winner poet Asad Chowdhury, who is staying now in Canada, has been admitted to a hospital in the country on Sunday.

Poet Asad Chowdhury suddenly fell ill on Sunday afternoon local time and then he was rushed to the local Michael Garron Hospital.

Local community leaders - Ontario Awami League Senior Vice President Faizul Karim, General Secretary Liton Masud, Vice President Engineer Nowsher Ali, Office Secretary Khaled Shamim - visited the poet in the hospital. 

They said that now the poet's physical condition is better than before. 

The family members of poet Asad Chowdhury have requested all to pray for the poet for his early recovery.
